WE NEED YOU: BSOE CON 2017
SO... What is Burdell's School of Entrepreneurship?
Burdell's School of Entrepreneurship (BSOE for short) is a one-day startup conference like no other. You'll find some of the best and brightest black entrepreneurs giving practical tactics on starting or growing your business, no matter what stage of the process you are in.
BSOE is a high-intensity, interactive (and fun) conference targeting high school students, college students, and young professionals in order to change the face of entrepreneurship. Through carefully curated workshops, presentations, and panels we will tackle aspects of entrepreneurship that are often overlooked in our community and help elevate our minority owned businesses to the next level.
OUR METHODOLOGY
SUPPORT: We have community leaders, get-it-doners, and young entrepreneurs teach the ins-and-outs of building your business, from overlooked legal aspects, leveraging social media, or getting funding.
PROMOTE: We focus on finding rising business rockstars to present at BSOE. We've learned that those on the rise have resonating lessons learned, are more relatable to our attendees. We in turn, promote their businesses in an effort to aid in their growth.
CULTIVATE: if we fill a room with potential, we know we can build innovative ideas and inspire one another. Rather than competition we focus on utilizing individuals' strengths to collaborate and grow. Through pipeline mentorship we aim to have each age range of entrepreneurs inspire and impact the next.
